Children who eat all kinds of food normally do not need a dietary supplement.Mother's milk is sufficient for nutrition for four to six months from the birth of most children.Sometimes doctor recommends supplementing vitamin D to those children who are dependent on breast milk or those who consume less than four bottles of milk per day or less than 32 ounces of diet per day. The child's initial diet, as the child grows, changes the liquid to solid foods.

Vitamin C -  Important for the child's general health and strong immune system. It helps in absorbing iron in the diet for infants. The good source of vitamin C is kiwi fruits, oranges, tomatoes, chillies and strawberries.

Vitamin A - Vitamin A is a source of dairy products, fats, carrots, potatoes, cabbage, spinach and broccoli.It helps to improve vision power, strengthens the immune system, and helps maintain healthy skin.

Protein Diet - It can be given to growing children.Include eggs,soya,pulses and protein straps in daily diet.
